A Day at Nature Camp....

    .....with my nephew Lock. Among other things we saw this Walking Stick insect yesterday at Nature Camp in Vesuvius, Virginia. It's a tradition that while my sister LeAn and brother-in-law Paul make dinner for a Hike Day fundraiser for Nature Camp , Lock and I take a walk and play around Big Mary's Creek. It was gorgeous weather and we had a good time spotting crayfish , netting dace and baby trout.  And then releasing them carefully. Then we drew together using only about 50 of his 96 color Crayola Crayons.  All in all , it was a beautiful day.
