Finally. better pictures !

 My friends Diane and Melissa clued me in to photographing work on overcast days outside , it really shows the true colors of my work so much better. And natural backgrounds suit them more anyway. They have a long way to go to be the best they can be though. At least I don't have to say now to internet buyers " Hey , if you like it now, you'll really like it in person". This is not a winning sales strategy.

So a Frog walks into a Kiln...

      My kilns are operational again ! Due to the kitchen reno, my kilns were in limbo for months. Dampness is not good for delicate electrical connections according to the Kiln Doctor, so rather than staying on the back porch they have been moved to their final destination , the basement.  And yes, there really is a Kiln Doctor, in fact the Doctor makes house calls all the way from Front Royal. Actually, he goes all over the East Coast and is in some demand since there are not many Kiln specialists. I'm just lucky that he's reasonably close. So , thats what I'm doing this week , glazing and firing, glazing and firing, glazing...well, you get the idea.
