Oh Look ! A Post !

            I apologize for the radio silence, I have been up to my elbows in clay. Not mine though. Due to this being the end of term at Blue Ridge Community College it's been non-stop firing ( literally !) And just getting comfortable with the ins and outs of the work there in general. As a result of that , I'm NOT up to my elbows in my own clay work. In a few weeks though I'll be back to less hours at BRCC and more hours making my own work again.  I have orders to fill and new renovation plans for the front bedroom so I have to get back to work ! And I've missed it, blogging I mean. And making my work. So I'm jettisoning a few other things and getting back to sharing the mind-numbing minutia of my life. Wait, that sounded bad... Anyway, like last week , there was another possum incident involving the Wildlife Center that involved a trip down the highway with a possum in a basket.  And yesterday I made a garden gate WITH MY OWN HANDS ! People ! Don't tell anyone but I can barely use a measuring stick. In fact I didn't use one, I just guessimated it. I figured if " ye olde timey people " could do it I could. And I did. More or less. So it's important pivotal events like these that I haven't been sharing and that's just wrong. But no more , I'm on it. This week will be a week of updates on previous stories to ease me back into the routine of serious blogging. I'll start with a work update about the Ceramics Department at Blue Ridge Community College, so until then Spoilers............................................................................................................................................................it turns out I like it.
