Fish Sunday
Saturday, August 21, 2010 at 10:19PM When I'm making a clay sculpture of a fish my main concern, other than does it look the way I want it to, is by the time I finish it will it even fit in the kiln? This is because lots of times I get a little over-enthusiastic and forget that pieces can go up to one size (due to my kiln size) and no further. Once in a while I have to whittle down a nose or trim a tail because I went too far. Occasionally , when that didn't work, I might ritually throw them into the woods off my deck, yelling " Hi ! Yah ! " like Miss Piggy, but now that I'm in the "city" I would hit too much traffic if I did that and get some funny looks, too. This little fishie pictured just squeaked by, luckily for him.

Cool website Liz! Schylar and - like it!
LaDonna ! I'm very, very happy with it, and you need to put me on your favorites button because your Daddy will be on here in his pink hat , eventually. And you don't want to miss that.
Kiss Schylar for me,
